حسب اطلاعات واصله از منبع مطلع، محمد هادی عرفانیان کاسب، وکیل دادگستری، توسط شعبه دوم بازپرسی دادسرای مقدس (امنیت) تهران ساعاتی پیش بازداشت و روانه بند 2الف اطلاعات سپاه در اوین شد. این وکیل دادگستری، که سابقه وکالت پرونده‌هایی از جمله پرونده راحله راحمی ‌پور، مرجان داوری، علیرضا شیرمحمدعلی زندانی سیاسی به قتل رسیده در زندان تهران بزرگ و برخی از شهروندان بهایی را برعهده داشته است، پیش تر در تاریخ  14 اسفندماه 1398 به شعبه 4 بازپرسی آن دادسرا احضار می گردد که به دلیل شرایط قرنطینه و شیوع بیماری کرونا، حضور وی به تاخیر می افتد. در تاریخ اول اردیبهشت ماه سال جاری، مجدداً احضاریه ای به دست وی می رسد که به دلایل نامعلوم و خلاف قوانین موجود، مرجع رسیدگی کننده از شعبه چهارم به شعبه دوم انتقال می یابد.
بنا بر اطلاعات این منبع آگاه، محمدهادی عرفانیان کاسب، ساعت 10 صبح روز جاری همراه با وکلای خود، به شعبه مزبور مراجعه می نماید که بازپرس از حضور وکلا در محل شعبه امتناع کرده و نهایتاً پس از 5 ساعت، وی را به بند 2الف زندان اوین منتقل می نماید. اتهام این وکیل دادگستری «تبلیغ علیه نظام» بیان شده است.



According to information received from an informed source, Mohammad Hadi Erfanian Kaseb, an attorney and counselor at law, was arrested by the Second Branch of the Tehran Moghaddas Prosecutor's Office a few hours ago and sent to Ward 2A of the IRGC in Evin Prison. The lawyer, who has a history of representing cases such as the case of Raheleh Rahemi pour, Marjan Davari, and Alireza Shirmohammad Ali, a political prisoner murdered in Great Tehran Prison, and some Baha'i citizens, was previously subpoenaed at Branch 4 of the aforementioned Prosecutor’s Office on March 4, 2020, but his presence was delayed due to the quarantine conditions and the pandemic Coronavirus. On April 20th, 2020, he received another summon, according to which the case was transferred from the Fourth Branch to the Second Branch based on unknown and illegal reasons.
According to this informed source, Mohammad Hadi Erfanian Kaseb, along with his lawyers, visited the second branch of Moghaddas Prosecution’s Office at 10:00 AM today, but the interrogator ignored the presence of his lawyers in the office and after 5 hours put him under arrest and transferred him to Ward 2A of Evin Prison which belongs to IRGC Intelligent Service (SAS). The charge explained to him is “Propaganda Against the Islamic Regime."

Abbas Dehghan, One of the Gonabadi Dervishes, Detained for 795 Days and Uncertainty Without Sentencing

Human Rights in Iran - Friday, April 24, 2020, Abbas Dehghan, a Gonabadi dervish arrested in the Golestan 7th incident, has been detained for more than two years in a state of uncertainty in the 2nd brigade of prison ward 1, Great Tehran Prison. After being arrested in the Golestan 7th incident, this Gonabadi dervish was transferred to the detention center of ward 1A of Sarallah IRGC Camp located in Afsaria, Tehran, and was interrogated and charged, and then transferred to the Great Tehran Prison.

Iran January 2020 Protests: Issuance of Imprisonment Sentences for 5 Citizens Living in Amol


Human Rights in Iran – On Wednesday, April 22, 2020, Amol Revolutionary Court issued 5 sentences separately for Shora Fekri, Meysam Khalili, Mohsen Rezaei, Salman Farrokhi and another person named Rayi, the detainees of the protests in January 2020, each sentenced to 6 months in prison delivered to the defendants right after issuance.
According to Human Rights in Iran, on Tuesday, April 22, 2020, Shora Fekri, Meysam Khalili, Mohsen Rezaei, Salman Farokhi and another person with the surname of Rayi, were among the detainees of the protests in January 2020, presided over by Judge Mahdavi in  Amol Revolutionary Court found guilty of "propaganda against the regime" and each was sentenced to six months of imprisonment.

Nine Baha'is living in Birjand sentenced to a total of more than 51 years in prison


Human Rights in Iran - Today, Thursday, April 23, 2020, Branch 2 of the Birjand Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Hojjat Nabavi, issued a sentence against Roya Maleki, Ataullah Maleki, Saeed Maleki, Arezoo Mohammadi, Rahmatollah Dimi, Farzaneh Dimi, Nasrin Ghadiri, Banafsheh Mokhtari, and Atieh Salehi, nine Baha'is living in Birjand to a total of 51 years and eight months in prison. The trial on the case of these Baha'i citizens was held on April 20 of the current year. These Baha'i citizens were detained during a raid on the homes of Baha'i citizens in Birjand in October 2017 and were released on bail pending interrogation. 

Workers of Shahroud Railway Buildings, 3 Months’ Salary Arrears and Deprivation of Access to Masks, Gloves and Forced Labor on Quarantine Days


Human Rights in Iran – Today, Wednesday, April 24, 2020, construction workers currently working in the railway buildings of Shahroud have 3 months of deferred monthly salaries. These citizens are also deprived of the right to have access to hygiene items such as masks and environmental disinfectants to prevent coronavirus. They were summoned on the days of the quarantine, by the contractor to work while the contractor did not provide them with the prevention means of the deadly virus.

Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj: At least seven prisoners accused of murder have been executed

Human Rights in Iran - Today, Wednesday, April 24, 2020, the death sentences of at least seven prisoners accused of murder in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj were carried out. The men had been transferred to solitary confinement in the past few days to serve their death sentences. 
Mohsen Rezaian, Alireza Ariaei, Hamidreza Asgharpour Masouleh, Mostafa Ghiyasvand, Mehdi Asemi, and Anna Dordi Babaei and another prisoner with an unknown identity, according to the report of Human Rights in Iran, this morning, Wednesday, April 24, 2020, were executed on the charge of committing murder. The death sentences were confirmed by the Supreme Court. Among those executed, Mohsen Rezaian had already lost an arm and a leg.

A Prisoner Died for Not having Access to Proper Healthcare

Human Rights in Iran – On Saturday the 4th of April 2020 Mahdi Rabiee, doing his time of 5-year-imprisonment under the accusation of financial crimes in type 5 of third prison ward on 2nd Saloon in Great Tehran Prison passed away due to the prohibition to have access to health- and medical care he desired.

چارچوب - اهمیت استقلال کانون وکلا

استقلال وکلا، امری که در حالت مطلوب، تضمین کننده محاکمه عادلانه است و این اطمینان را ایجاد میکند که وکیل با تمام توان و کاملا مستقل از سیستم قضایی به دفاع از متهم خود بپردازد.
اگرچه که در حال حاضر هم در ایران چه برای متهمان جرائم عادی و چه برای متهمان سیاسی، این محاکمه عادلانه خیلی هم در دسترس نبوده اما به نظر میرسد که قوه قضائیه تحت ریاست ابراهیم رئیسی قصد دارد هر چه بیشتر از عدالت فاصله بگیرد.
در روز 28 اسفند سال 98، یعنی دقیقا آخرین روز کاری این سال، پیش نویس آیین نامه ای از سوی قوه قضاییه برای کانون وکلا ارسال شد که در آن، تغییراتی هست که اساسا مورد تقاضای وکلا نبوده است!
این جزئیات شاید در نگاه اول، فقط اختلافی بین قوه قضائیه و کانون وکلا به نظر برسند اما واقعیت این است که این آیین نامه ها، میتوانند به سادگی گام اول در راستای از بین بردن کلیت مفهوم عدالت در دادگاه های ایران باشند.
و البته در پی آن هم آیین نامه تعیین حق الوکاله که آن هم در 28 اسفند توسط ابراهیم رئیسی به تصویب رسیده است.

Danial Zeinolabedini, Juvenile Criminal, Passed Away After Assault and Battery by Security Agents in Mahabad Prison


Human Rights in Iran – On Tuesday, March 31st, 2020 Danial Zeinolabedini, a juvenile criminal imprisoned in Mahabad Prison who had been transferred to solidarity cell for participating in protests against a lack of accessibility to hygiene and disinfection products passed away after assault and battery and torture by security agents in prison.

At least 10 prisoners kept in Tabriz and Urmia prisons transferred to intelligent service detain centers


Human Rights in Iran – On Wednesday, April the 1st, 2020 at least 10 prisoners kept in Tabriz and Urmia prisons were transferred to intelligent service wards, also known as Secured Ward, either inside or outside of these prisons. The main reason for this transfer is the protests occurred in the past days by prisoners for being deprived of having access to hygiene products and disinfection and antiseptic products to prevent getting infected by Corona Virus, as well as the exclusion of them to go on temporary leave and other rights legally recognized.
